Shree Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji Mandir
Story behind Shri Kashtbhanjandev Hanumanji Maharaj at SARANGPUR near Botad in Gujarat :-
One time Aksharmukt GOPALANAND SWAMI had arrived in the village of Botad. At that time the chief of Sarangpur who was VAGHA KHACHAR went to Botad to do darshan of Swami. Gopalanand Swami asked him how is going Darbaar? Are you happy or not? At that time Vagha Khachar replied, Oh Swami, we have two droughts (सूखा-अकाल). The first one being that for three years it hasn’t rained even once. Secondly, we do not have the darshan of great saints such as you. In this way we have two droughts not one swami, please do help us.
Then after going in deep meditation for a short while Swami spoke Oh chief, what if we consecrate someone from which saints will always reside in your village? Then you will have no problems. In this way Swami showered (उदारतापूर्वक) great affection (प्रीति-प्रेम) upon the chief and gave the orders to make the idol of Shree Hanumanji Maharaj. In Samvat 1905 Aaso vad pancham the idol was ready and with the Vedic rituals (अनुष्ठान) it was consecrated (प्रतिष्ठित).
Aksharmukt Yogiraaj Shri Gopalanand Swami after consecrating (प्रतिष्ठा) Shri Hanumanji Maharaj at Sarangpur has got rid (छुटकारा) of the troubles of millions of people so known as Kashtbhanjandev (Crusher of Sorrows- कष्ट-भंजन (दुःख-भंजन) देव).
