Tallest
sculpture of Lord Anjaneya Swamy is located at Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy
Temple; Ananthagiri Hills, Vikarabad belongs to Ranga Reddy district in the
Indian state of Telangana. Ananthagiri Temple is situated in dense forested
area on the banks of Musi River on Hills, about 5 kms from Vikarabad and 75 kms
from the state capital city Hyderabad.
Lord Vishnu
is in the form of Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy and Ananthagiri is named after
him. It is one of the earliest habitat areas. Ancient caves, medieval fort
structures and temple show the antiquity of this area.
