Yogeswar Temple

Scarlet colour tallest sculpture of Lord Kapiraaj Hanuman at Lord Shiva’s ‘Yogeswar Temple’ famous for its ancient Shiva Linga is situated at PATORA village belongs to NUAPADA district in the Indian state of ODISHA. It is located about 18 kms from the district head quarters Nuapada. Different most beautiful well arted statues have been placed around the temple. Left side of temple’s way will take to Lord Ram Mandir through mouth of Naagmata Surasa which is pressed by Lord Hanuman’s foot. Here is a beautiful park (or garden) with flowerbeds and fountains; its name is Rajeev Udhyan (or Rajib udyan).

Patora is very famous for pilgrimage & picnic spot and one of the major tourism attractions of this region. There is a Dam constructed across Jonk River popular as Patora Dam located at Patora. The maximum areas of Nuapada district are irrigated and people are getting water source for drinking purpose by dam.
